Opening up treatment options for people with cancer, it targets tumors with accuracy measured in millimeters. 它的力量和灵活性, physicians can develop treatments that are best suited for patients' individual circumstances.

Many different types of cancers are now being treated using radiotherapy procedures. It offers many different types of advanced treatment techniques including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), 影像引导放射治疗调强放疗(放射) RapidArc®放疗技术封闭的RapidArc.

RapidArc is a form of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) that de肝s a precisely sculpted 3D dose distribution with a single 360-degree rotation of the linear accelerator gantry. RapidArc involves varying (or modulating) the intensity of the radiation (in this case, 高能x射线). 图像引导提高肿瘤靶向性, 和 放射 shapes the radiation dose so that it conforms closely to the three-dimensional shape of the tumor. 在成像方面, TrueBeam generates high-quality 3-D cone-beam CT images 60% faster than was possible with earlier generations of Varian imaging technology. Additional functionality makes it possible to create images using 25% less X-ray dose.

TrueBeam was designed with many features that can improve the overall patient experience. With shorter treatment times 和 quieter operation, TrueBeam provides for a more comfortable environment for patients. Enhanced communication technology enables a constant interaction between the patient 和 the therapist who operates the equipment. Three closed-circuit television systems enable the therapist to monitor the patient at all times. Music can be played during treatment, helping to increase patient comfort.

  • TrueBeam rotates around the patient to de肝 a prescribed radiation dose from nearly any angle.
